Nereida Correa, MD, MPH

Nereida Correa is a Women’s Health Specialist as an obstetrician/gynecologist at Eastchester Medical Associates, PC (EMA) and is an Associate Professor and Senior Advisor of the first Hispanic Center of Excellence in New York State at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has been in practice for over 30 years, is fluent in Spanish and brings her experience and understanding of a wide spectrum of conditions affecting women of all ages.  She also collaborates with the Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants in the practice to provide support and teamwork to all the members of the healthcare team at EMA and to assure that all our patients receive high quality care.
It was the vision of the physicians who started EMA that this practice would provide access to care for patient of all ages and ethnic groups in the Bronx and that the care provided would be of the highest standard, compassionate and designed to meet the needs of patients.

Elizabeth Lee-Rey, MD, MPH

Elizabeth Lee-Rey has been a Family Medicine physician since 1990 and a founding partner of Eastchester Medical Associates, PC since 2011. As a clinician, her inspiration remains to be- her patients who she often reflects, “care for her as much as she cares for them.” In the era of Covid 19 and beyond, ever more pertinent, will be to meet the challenges of treating and ensuring good health and wellbeing for patients and community. 
Dr. Lee-Rey believes having healthy attitudes and habits can translate into happy and healthy lives for her patients and in turn the entire family. Her career includes 11 years as a clinical educator and NIH researcher and was privileged to have led and directed NYS’s first Hispanic Center of Excellence at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In that role, she headed initiatives in cultural competency and health disparities through high school and college pipeline programming, medical school curriculum initiatives and in faculty development.  Dr. Lee-Rey continues to advocate for national policies in health and health disparities in medicine as it relates to communities of color. She has been recognized for her research in health disparities and has publications to her credit. Dr. Lee-Rey completed her undergraduate education at New York University and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She received her MPH from the Mailman Columbia School of Public Health.

Regina Cardaci, PhD NP, RN, CNM

Regina Cardaci has been a provider at Eastchester Medical Associates since 2017. They have been providing gynecologic health care for over 30 years, first as a midwife providing full scope care, including prenatal care, attending births and gynecologic care to people throughout the life span including family planning, cancer screening, colposcopy and menopause care.  Since 2002, they have been working as a Nurse-Practitioner in various gynecologic settings, including oncology, reproductive endocrinology/infertility as well as full scope gynecology including colposcopy.  In addition, they have held various faculty appointments, most recentosly at New York University.
Regina received her BS and Masters degrees from Adelphi University, a post-master’s certificate in Midwifery from SUNY Downstate and a PhD from the CUNY Graduate Center.

Elijah A.J. Salzer, DMSc, PA-C

Elijah Salzer has practiced obstetrics and gynecology as a physician assistant for 30 years. He has practiced at Eastchester Medical Associates, P.C. since 2010. Dr Salzer is also clinical professor at the Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital Department of Physician Assistant Studies in New York. He graduated from the LIU-Brooklyn PA Program with highest honors and completed the Montefiore Medical Center Postgraduate PA Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received the Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg. He has lectured on topics in obstetrics and gynecology at international, national and state and local conferences, and is a guest lecturer in numerous PA programs in the metropolitan area. Dr Salzer also continues to practice at Mount Sinai Medical Center as a licensed sexual assault forensic examiner.
